Introduction to technical evidence
Technical evidence helps to set the context for our plans and strategies by providing the statistical data and information that underpins our policies. We commission studies for the purpose of informing a particular policy document or area of policy. The technical evidence base is available to view on our website in the interests of transparency and because the data and analysis contained therein may be useful to assist other organisations.
For ease of reference we have organised our evidence base by topic, followed by a separate section for material relating to specific sites allocated for development in our Core Strategy.
