Following completion of the Independent Examination of the Claverdon Neighbourhood Plan, the Examiner issued his report to the District Council on 20th May this year and can be viewed below:
In accordance with paragraph 18 of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), The Local Planning Authority must now consider what action to take in response to the recommendations of the Examiner and decide what modifications, if any, are to be made to the Plan in order for it to proceed to referendum.
The independent examiner for the Claverdon Neighbourhood Plan has carried out a preliminary review of the document and its evidence. The examiner has requested clarification from Claverdon Parish Council and Stratford-on-Avon District Council on a number of matters. These questions, and the responses sent to the examiner, are listed below.
Following completion of the Regulation 16 (Formal Submission) consultation in March this year, the Claverdon Neighbourhood Plan has now been sent for examination by an independent examiner. The Examiner's letter confirming how he intends to conduct the Examination is attached. In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), we held a consultation on the policies proposed in the Submission version of the Plan. The consultation ran from Thursday 31 January 2019 until 5pm on Friday 15 March 2019.

The Pre-Submission Draft of the Claverdon Neighbourhood Plan was published for a six week period of consultation between 25 January 2018 and 19 March 2018 in accordance with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).
The Claverdon Neighbourhood Plan Area was designated by Cabinet on 16 June 2014. Claverdon Parish Council was the relevant body that applied to the District Council for designation. The area application documents can be found below:
