Recreation Ground Play Area gets a refurb

Stratford-on-Avon District Council is delighted to share the fantastic news that the renovation of the children's play area at the Recreation Ground in Stratford-upon-Avon is now complete.

The site is officially open from Friday 27 March, just in time for families to enjoy over the Easter Holidays.

Stratford-on-Avon District Council launches its refreshed website

Following the Residents' Survey 2024, the District Council has been carrying out a full redesign of its website and online services to make it easier for residents, businesses and visitors to find information and complete tasks quickly and confidently.

Stratford-on-Avon District Council's 2026 health screening programme

Tests are available across the District at a discounted rate of £14 each and include:

  • PSA (Prostate Screening) for men over 40
  • Diabetes screening for men and women aged 18+
  • Cholesterol checks for men and women aged 18+

Garden waste subscriptions are open for the 2026-27 period, ending 31st March 2027.
