Stratford-on-Avon District Council Leisure Centres

Stratford-on-Avon District Council is committed to providing high quality leisure and sporting facilities for the local community. The district's five leisure centres are owned by the council and managed, on our behalf, by leisure management company Everyone Active.

The council's role is to monitor the management arrangements of the leisure centres to ensure that a high standard of service provision is maintained. The purpose of the leisure centres is to provide affordable sport and active recreational opportunities for the local community.

The council has agreed the fees and charges effective from 1 January 2025. All new costs are in accordance with the agreed services specification set out in the Leisure Management Contract. Our commitment is to make access to all of our leisure centres as easy as possible. The council works in partnership with Everyone Active to achieve this objective.

Stratford Leisure Centre

The centre offers a wide range of activities and facilities. It is popular for family members of all ages, especially children, with a large swim school and dry-side sports programme, birthday parties and holiday play schemes. Dedicated quiet hours in the gym between 13:00 and 15:00 Monday to Friday.

Shipston Leisure Centre

The centre offers activities for people of all ages and abilities and has a swimming pool and gym. There are also a number of activities In the pool throughout the week, from swimming lessons to aqua classes. Dedicated quiet hours in the gym between 13:00 and 15:00 Monday to Friday.

Southam Leisure Centre

Southam Leisure Centre is located next to Southam College on Welsh Road West. You can enjoy a wide range of exercise classes, relax in the sauna or workout in the newly refurbished gym, which features the latest fitness equipment. Studley Leisure Centre

The centre offers activities for people of all ages and abilities. The centre hosts a 20m pool, which is used for activities throughout the week from swimming lessons to birthday parties and club usage. The centre also has a sports hall for badminton and other sports.
