Stratford-on-Avon District Council resolved that the Salford Seven Neighbourhood Development Plan was 'made' on 17 July 2017. It is now formally part of the District Council's development plan and will be used to assist in making decisions on planning applications within the plan area.
On 4th May 2017, voters in Salford Priors chose to say 'yes' to the Neighbourhood Plan - that it should become part of the District Council's development plan and be used to assist in determining planning applications in the parish.
The Salford Seven Neighbourhood Plan was independently examined in Summer 2016 and the examiner recommended that, subject to some modifications, the plan should proceed to referendum. The District Council agreed with the examiner's report and voted to progress the plan to referendum at the Cabinet meeting on 13 February 2017 .
Following completion of the formal submission consultation on the draft neighbourhood development plan, the plan - together with the associated consultation documents and schedule of responses - was sent to an Independent Examiner on 14 July 2016.
In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), we held a consultation on the policies proposed in the Submission version of the Plan. The consultation started on 19 May and closed on 1 July 2016.
The Submission Draft Plan and associated consultation documents can be viewed below:
