The Council has accepted the examiner's recommended modifications on the Ilmington Neighbourhood Plan and issued the decision that the plan should proceed to referendum. Due to current circumstances, it is not possible to estimate at the present time when a referendum could be held.
However, due to amendments made by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to Planning Practice Guidance, the Plan now has significant weight in the planning decision making process. A copy of the referendum version of the Plan is available below:

In accordance with Regulation 12 of Part 3 of The Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004, an environmental report (known as a Strategic Environmental Assessment or SEA) was prepared to identify, describe and evaluate the likely significant effect of the Ilmington Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) on environmental factors; suggest measures by which any adverse effects could be mitigated; make recommendations to improve the environmental performance of the Plan; and provide an opportunity for statutory consultees and interested parties to offer views on any aspect of the SEA process.
Regulation 13 of the above Regulations states that a SEA report shall be made available along with the draft Plan for the purposes of consultation (jointly known as ‘the relevant documents').
