Stratford-on-Avon District Council (“We") will use the information that you give us when you subscribe to the My District service to provide you with tailored and up-to-date information about bin collections, job vacancies, planning applications, school closures, health services, police services and other local government services, and to manage your My District account.

If you opt-in to our ‘job alerts' or ‘planning alerts' services within the My District service, then we will use your information to send you emails containing details of current job vacancies and planning applications (as applicable).

For these purposes we collect your name, address, date of birth, email address, telephone number and login details. We will not share this information with any third party.

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide your information to us. Our use of your information is on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We record IP addresses for statistical, error and diagnostics purposes only. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interests in these purposes. We do not collect any information to enable us to independently identify you from your IP address.

We use Google Analytics to collect data about how you use this service. You can find out more on how Google Analytics uses data. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interests in this purpose.

We will not share this information or transfer it to any international organisation, except to the extent required for the use of Google Analytics which has servers based in the United States (whereby data transfers are compliant with the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

We will keep your information until you unsubscribe or until five years of inactivity have elapsed.
