Stratford-on-Avon District Council resolved that the Harbury and Deppers Bridge Neigbourhood Development Plan was 'made' on 17 December 2018. It is now formally part of the District Council's development plan and will be used to assist in making decisions on planning applications within the plan area.
On Thursday 29 November 2018, voters in Harbury voted 'yes' to the Neighbourhood Development Plan.
The Harbury and Deppers Bridge Neighbourhood Plan was independently examined between May and June 2018. Following the Examiner's report of 30 July 2018, The Cabinet voted on 8th October 2018 that the Plan, as amended by the modifications set out in the decision statement below, should proceed to Referendum.
The examiner asked for the Parish Council and Stratford-on-Avon District Council to respond to a number of questions in order to provide clarity and additional information to assist the examination.
Responses to these queries were supplied in June 2018. Associated documents are listed below.
Consultation on the Submission Draft of the Harbury Neighbourhood Plan ran from 11 January to 5.00 pm on 22 February 2018. The consultation is now closed.
Recent planning guidance from the Neighbourhood Planning Independent Examiner Referral Service advises that the qualifying body (in this case Harbury Parish Council) be given an opportunity to comment on representations made during the consultation. As examination on the Harbury and Deppers Bridge Neighbourhood Development Plan commenced soon after the publication of this guidance, the examiner gave the Parish Council until the end of Friday 27 April to submit any comments on the above responses.
The Neighbourhood Plan Area was designated by the cabinet on 8 September 2014. Harbury Parish Council was the relevant body that applied to the district council for designation. The area application documents can be found below:
