What is the housing trajectory?

We monitor the supply and delivery of housing across Stratford-on-Avon to ensure that the District's housing needs are met. The housing trajectory details the number of houses delivered since the Core Strategy's start year of 2011 and projects what we believe will be the supply in coming years.

Housing site schedules

The Housing sites schedule lists when we expect homes to be completed and records homes that have already been built. It covers the period 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2031. The schedule forms the background information for the Council's five year supply calculation.

Previous calculations schedules are listed below for information.

Housing sites – by settlement

The figures below outline the number of dwellings already built and expected to be completed in each of the settlements forming part of the hierarchy outlined in the Core Strategy: Stratford-upon-Avon, the main rural centres and the local service villages.

Previous calculations are provided below for information.

Housing Implementation Strategy

The Housing Implementation Strategy (HIS) sets out our approach to managing the delivery of new housing in Stratford-on-Avon District up to 2031. The HIS provides further detail and analysis on the expected delivery of sites for housing development, including the housing trajectory. The below documents were prepared to accompany earlier draft versions of the Core Strategy, but still provide useful background information.

Authority Monitoring Report

Detailed housing monitoring information and analysis on housing completions is included in the housing section of the Council's Authority Monitoring Report (AMR), produced at least annually.
