Safer Food, Better Business (SFBB) helps small businesses with food safety management procedures and food hygiene regulations.
Food businesses are required to have documented procedures to show what they do to keep food safe. Using SFBB is one of the ways you can comply with this requirement. The pack covers cross contamination, cleaning, chilling, cooking and management.
There are different packs available for a range of businesses and languages. You can download and print a copy of the pack from the Food Standards Agency website appropriate for your type of business:
You are not obliged to use SFBB. However, you must have a food safety management system in place relevant to your business.
