Parks, Open Spaces and Grounds Management

Our Parks and Open Spaces

Stratford-on-Avon District Council owns various recreational land across the district including children's play areas, garden land and nature reserves. The management and maintenance of our parks, green spaces and grass verges is overseen by the council and carried out by idverde.

Our Commitment

The council's parks and green spaces play a vital role in making the district an attractive place to live, work and visit. They offer a great setting for recreation, relaxation or health and leisure activities, and provide a welcoming site to the many visitors our area attracts.

We are committed to maintaining their environmental standards and ensuring they are accessible to all.

Proposed Byelaw for The Bancroft, The Tramway and The Recreation Ground

The Council is proposing to replace the existing byelaws that regulate the use of The Bancroft, The Tramway and The Recreation Ground with a new byelaw encompassing all three areas.
