The Chair of Stratford-on-Avon District Council is elected in May of each year at the Annual Meeting of the Council.

It is the Chair's responsibility as Civic Head is to represent the District Council at a large range of public, Civic and business events and also to act as Chair at each full meeting of the Council.

The current Chair is Councillor Mike Rice and the current Vice-Chair is Councillor Cliff Brown.

This time, Cllr Mike Rice (Henley-in-Arden) will be supporting Shakespeare Hospice and VASSA during his term of office.
