Everyday activities such as shopping or travelling can often present difficult challenges for those with mobility issues. Shopmobility enables people with mobility problems to conduct themselves independently around the town centre in their own time and use all kinds of services without having to rely on friends or family.
Anyone of any age with a mobility issue, whether it be temporary or long term, can use Shopmobility. You do not have to be registered disabled, have a Blue Badge or be in receipt of disability benefits to use the service.

Our office will be closed for training on Tuesday 12 February from 11:15 till 13:30.
In the event of snow that has covered the pathways, we cannot allow any of our equipment out for health and safety reasons, and during this time our office may be closed.
The service may also open on additional Sundays for special events in the town. Please contact us using the details below for more information.
On occasion it may be necessary for us to close the scheme in the event of staff sickness or training. Therefore we advise that you ring before you visit us to ensure that equipment is available and hopefully avoid a wasted journey.
