Keeping fit and healthy can be a challenge, especially with gyms and pools shut as England's second lockdown begins, but Stratford-on-Avon District Council is reminding residents the importance a staying fit and healthy.
Physical activity is an important factor in staying healthy and resilient and will help protect against risks from COVID-19.
Cllr Ian Shenton, Operations Portfolio at Stratford-on-Avon District Council says: "Lockdowns, while important to reduce transmission of COVID-19, can have a detrimental effect on both the physical and mental health of people.
"Research shows that being sedentary is bad for your physical and mental health, so staying active during this difficult time is important and focus on the things that we can do to take care of ourselves."
To help, despite the leisure centres being closed across the district, Everyone Active are posting daily workouts on their Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/everyoneactive/
