Stratford Leisure Centre has revealed three new padel courts for the community to enjoy.
The leisure centre, run by leading leisure operator Everyone Active in partnership with Stratford-on-Avon District Council, partnered with Padel centre operator Padelstars to construct the courts to meet demand and welcome the world's fastest growing sport to the centre of town.
The new padel courts - which comprise of two doubles courts and one singles court - sit next to the existing outdoor courts and are open to all, with bookings for courts, social activities and coaching now open via the Playtomic app.
Richard Bell, area contract manager at Everyone Active, said: "We're thrilled to reveal our new Padel courts at Stratford Leisure Centre which are now open to the local community. It's a fantastic, sociable sport, and a great way to keep active.
"This announcement cements our partnership with Padelstars to help this fun sport become even more accessible to people of all ages and abilities while boosting social and physical wellbeing. We're excited to welcome everyone down to the leisure centre and help them discover and develop their padel skills."
Councillor Lorraine Grocott, Environmental and Neighbourhood Services Portfolio Holder at Stratford-on-Avon District Council, said: "We are delighted to see these new padel courts open at Stratford Leisure Centre, bringing one of the fastest-growing sports in the country to our local community. This investment reflects our commitment to providing high-quality leisure facilities and encouraging more residents to take part in sport and physical activity."

Padel is a racquet sport mainly played in a doubles format that combines elements of tennis and squash.
Originating in Mexico, the sport is now booming in the UK, with more than 1,000,000 people now playing, up from just 15,000 in 2019, and the number of courts growing from just 87 in 2020 to currently more than 1,600 nationwide.
