Environmental crime is any illegal activity that harms the environment. It can have a significant detrimental impact on local communities and encourage more serious crimes.

Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Environmental and Operational Services Team works closely with the Community Safety Team and Warwickshire Police to investigate incidents of environmental crime, ensuring that they are responded to and dealt with in a proportionate, consistent and timely manner.

Our Local Environmental Quality Enforcement Policy sets out the enforcement actions that Council officers may take in accordance with national guidance and legislation.
