Building Control Pre-application meeting for domestic work only

Telephone calls and queries to the duty officer for small projects will remain free of charge. However, charges will be payable in situations where a pre application site inspection or meeting is sought. Any amount paid in these situations will be offset against the application charge when an application is formally submitted. The chargeable rate is £70 per hour per building control surveyor.

Pre-application meeting for projects that do not involve domestic work

Please contact the Building Control Team on 01789 260626 or email buildingcontrol@stratford-dc.gov.uk for assistance on projects that do not involve domestic work. We will be able to provide a bespoke pre-application service for these types of projects and can quote a fee once we have had an initial discussion.
