The Stratford Mop Fairs, which have been a staple annual tradition in Stratford-upon-Avon for more than 650 years, have had to be postponed this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, Stratford-upon-Avon is a place which knows the value of respecting history and keeping its traditions alive; so a small ride will be placed at the American Fountain on Rother Street to mark this year's Charter Mop.
A simple ceremony will take place on Monday 12 October at 11am to acknowledge the importance of the Mop Fairs to the town.
The small children's ride will remain in place for most of the day for any child to enjoy! All equipment will be COVID-secure.
