Stratford-on-Avon District Council is responsible for approximately 250 hectares (618 acres) of land, ranging from car parks to public open spaces and play areas to local nature reserves, upon which are around 5,000 trees. Trees are dynamic, living organisms that continuously grow and adapt to their local environment; and whose health, condition and structure can change quickly and without warning.
