Future of proposed merger

On Wednesday 11 May, Stratford-on-Avon and Warwick District Council formally withdrew their requests to merge and create a South Warwickshire Council. Further information on the decision can be found on each Councils website:

Warwick District Council: Proposals to merge with Stratford-on-Avon District Council withdrawn

Work on the South Warwickshire Local plan is set to continue.
