The Citizens' Panel began in 1999 and provides a systematic way of gathering residents' opinions on matters of local concern. These views can then be used to influence decisions made by the council about policies and services in the district.
The Citizens' Panel is a group of around 1,000 residents of the Stratford-on-Avon District. To obtain their views on a number of issues, we regularly send them questionnaires or invite them to participate in discussion groups known as focus groups.
- The results of the January/February 2020 panel focused on budget consultation and environmental health.
- The results of the Proposed Council Plan Consultation focused on the new Council Plan proposed for adoption in August 2019. The report includes responses from the Citizens' Panel as well as stakeholders and staff.
- The results of the January/February 2019 panel focused on budget consultation and the Stratford Victorian Christmas Market.

The panel is open to anyone who lives in the district. Volunteer to participate and receive up to three questionnaires a year using the online recruitment form.
