Stratford-on-Avon District Council launches new climate adaptation scheme

Stratford-on-Avon District Council has launched a climate change adaptation scheme to help local community groups, charities, businesses and parish and town councils to bolster their resilience to climate change.

The District Council is looking for 10 organisations to engage in the new programme. Successful applications will be provided with a Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan and will receive £10,000 in grant funding to begin the implementation of the Action Plan.

The following organisations are eligible to apply for the scheme: 

  • Town and Parish Councils.
  • Formally constituted community and charity groups, including sports clubs. 
  • Independent businesses.

Applications are open until 5pm on Thursday 26 March 2026.
