Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to the Stratford-on-Avon District Council for Planning Permission for development which affects the character or appearance of a Conservation Area or development which affects the setting of a Listed Building and/or Listed Building Consent/Conservation Area Consent in respect of the applications scheduled below.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) REGULATIONS 2011

Notice is hereby given that the following reserved matters application (Ref: 25/01382/REM) has been Approved dated 18 February 2026. The associated outline application (15/00976/OUT) was granted permission dated 14 December 2017 and was accompanied by an Environmental Statement: 

Application for the Reserved Matters approval of means of access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale relating to a Primary School with associated hardstanding, boundary treatments, structures, infrastructure and landscaping all pursuant to Outline Planning Permission 15/00976/OUT which was the subject of an Environmental Impact Assessment 

Application at: Village Centre School Site Upper Lighthorne New Settlement 
Application for: Warwickshire County Council

The application, plans and other documents submitted may be viewed via the Council's website under Ref: 25/01382/REM at Stratford-on-Avon District Council: Eplanning. Alternatively, they can be viewed electronically during public opening hours at the District Council offices, Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6HX. 

There is a right to challenge the validity of the planning decision under Section 288 of the Town and Country Planning act 1990 and this should be made to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date the reserved matters approval is issued by the Local Planning Authority. 

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 STRATFORD-ON-AVON DISTRICT COUNCIL DIVERSION OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH SD16 (PART OF) IN THE PARISH OF OLD STRATFORD & DRAYTON PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER, 2026

The above order, made on 2 February 2026, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert part of Public Footpath SD16, currently running from Point A (OS grid ref. SP17407,55139) on the western side of the housing development at Shottery View approximately 40 metres east of the new road on the south-west of the development to Point B (grid ref. SP17788,55277) on West Green Drive on the eastern side of the development, to a line running from said Point A to said Point B, via newly created hoggin (mixed surface) path and estate road pavements through Points C-D-E-F-G-H-J-K-B as shown on the order map.

A copy of the order and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Council Offices, Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays). 

Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £5.00.

Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Tony Perks, Deputy Chief Executive, Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6HX, not later than NOON on 26 March 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Stratford-on-Avon District Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
