Stratford-on-Avon District Council introduced The Community Climate and Nature Fund (CCNF) in November 2023 and has since enabled the funding of a multitude of climate and biodiversity initiatives across Stratford on Avon District. Funded projects range from the installation of solar panels and air source heat pumps to pond restoration and flood prevention projects.
Round Three of the CCNF opened in May 2025, and £150,000 was made available to successful applicants, across four quarterly assessment periods. The third of four assessment periods ended on 14th January 2026, and a total of 6 applications were approved. The following projects have been funded:
Cllr Susan Juned, Leader of Stratford-on-Avon District Council, said: "It is a privilege to support these communities in their ambitions to conserve nature or become more energy efficient. Their work is really appreciated."
Round Three will remain open until 13th April 2026, and applications can be submitted at any time before this date. £34,139 is still available to successful applicants.
