Waterside Upmarket will officially reopen on Sunday 1st March, launching the new season with a vibrant celebration that marks both its exciting rebrand and its recent national success.
The much-loved Stratford-upon-Avon market was recently crowned Best Large Outdoor Market 2026 at the National Association of British Market Authorities (NABMA) Awards - a prestigious accolade recognising excellence in markets across the UK.
Waterside Upmarket is operated by LSD Promotions in partnership with Stratford-on-Avon District Council and Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council, and has been a cornerstone of the town's riverside offer for over 30 years.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the River Avon and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, the market hosts over 90 high-quality artisan traders every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from March to December, attracting thousands of visitors each week.
To celebrate the start of the season, the first 50 visitors on Sunday 1st March will receive a complimentary limited-edition Waterside Upmarket tote bag, filled with market information and exclusive trader offers.
Waterside Upmarket celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2025 and continues to play an important role in supporting independent businesses, enhancing the visitor experience, and contributing to Stratford-upon-Avon's thriving town centre economy.
