Long Marston Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Result

On Thursday 28 March, Stratford-on-Avon District Council held its 30th neighbourhood plan referendum.

Voters in Long Marston went to the polls to respond to the question:

"Do you want Stratford-on-Avon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Long Marston to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"

The results were as follows:

The number of votes cast in favour of YES was 143 (91%)

The number of votes cast in favour of NO was 14 (9%)

Total number of ballot papers issued: 157

The turnout was 32%
Electorate: 486
