Stratford-on-Avon District Council has received the planning and listed building consent applications for the partial demolition, refurbishment and extension of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre (RST). 

As the standard consultation period for these important proposals is over the Christmas period, the due date for comments is being extended by a week to 11 January.
