Following the announcement of a by election in the Kinwarton Ward, to be held on Thursday 9 July, after the resignation of Councillor Thom Holmes (Liberal Democrat), the Chief Executive of Stratford-on-Avon District Council has, due to rules surrounding taking significant decisions during the pre-election period, taken the decision to cancel the Extraordinary Meeting of Council scheduled for Monday 8 June.

The business originally due to be considered at this meeting will now be brought forward to the next ordinary meeting of Council on Monday 13 July.

A further update will be issued next week regarding a revised timetable for consideration of the South Warwickshire Local Plan Regulation consultation.
