Ettington and Fulready Neighbourhood Plan has now been 'made'
Stratford-on-Avon District Council resolved that the Ettington and Fulready Neighbourhood Development Plan was 'made' on 17 December 2018. It is now formally part of the District Council's development plan and will be used to assist in making decisions on planning applications within the plan area.

'Yes' vote at referendum
On Thursday 11 October, voters in Ettington and Fulready voted 'yes' to the Neighbourhood Plan.
The results were as follows:
- The number of votes cast in favour of YES was 296 (95.48%)
- The number of votes cast in favour of NO was 14 (4.52%)
- Total number of votes cast 310 – 0 rejects
- The turnout was 35.18%.
Plan to proceed to referendum
The Ettington and Fulready Neighbourhood Plan was independently examined during November 2017 and March 2018 . Following the examiner's report of 15 March 2018, the Cabinet voted on 30 July 2018 to proceed to referendum with the Plan, as amended by the modifications that are set out in the decision statement below.

Examiner's report
Following completion of the independent examination of the Ettington and Fulready Neighbourhood Development Plan, the examiner issued his report to the District Council.
Examination
In January 2018, the examiner provided an initial letter setting out how the examination process will be conducted. In February 2018, the examiner asked for a number of initial clarifications relating to the submitted documents. The consultant working on behalf of the Qualifying Body submitted the below documents, endorsed by the Steering Group and Parish Council.

Stratford District Council sent a further email to clarify some points raised in the above submissions. We also clarified the status of the proposed settlement boundaries proposed in the Neighbourhood Plan and in the Site Allocations Plan.
Formal Submission consultation
In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), we held a consultation on the policies proposed in the Submission version of the Plan. The consultation started on 4 December 2017 and closed on 29 January 2018.

Pre-Submission Draft consultation
The Pre-Submission Draft of the Ettington and Fulready Neighbourhood Plan was published for a six week period of consultation between 16 June 2017 and 28 July 2018 in accordance with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).

Neighbourhood Area designation
The Ettington and Fulready Neighbourhood Plan Area was designated on 13 March 2015. Ettington and Fulready Parish Council was the relevant body that applied to the District Council for designation. The area application documents can be found below:
