Electric Vehicle Charging Points

Stratford-on-Avon District Council is committed to helping people travel in a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly way. As part of this commitment, the Council has installed electric vehicle charging points in the following car parks:

We are currently working with Warwickshire County Council to manage the transition to a new charge point operator. The existing BP Pulse charge points in place in our car parks will be taken over by a new service provider. Please ensure that you check your app to see whether the charge points are in service before going to charge. If they are not in service, check ZapMap for nearby alternatives or see below. Please also check the Council's social media channels for updates.

  • Arden Street Car Park, Stratford-upon-Avon (8 bays) - open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Bridgeway Multi-Storey Car Park, Stratford-upon-Avon (2 bays) - open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Church Street Car Park, Stratford-upon-Avon (2 bays) - only open to the public outside normal office hours, at weekends and Bank Holidays. However, these charging points may be used during office hours when the car park is closed to the public. To gain access during this time, please drive up to the barrier and press the intercom button to speak to one of the Council's Customer Services team for assistance
  • Bulls Head Yard Car Park, Alcester (8 bays) - open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Wood Street Car Park, Southam (6 bays) - open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Please note:

  • A full charge takes around four hours per vehicle
  • Parking charges apply at Arden Street (pay and display), Bridgeway Multi-Storey (a pay-on-return ANPR system) and Church Street (pay and display)
  • Parking charges do not apply at Bulls Head Yard Car Park and Wood Street Car Park
