Current Policy

As the Licensing Authority we are responsible for the implementation and administration of certain parts of the Gambling Act 2005. Part of this responsibility is to adopt a 'Policy and Statement of Principles' which must be reviewed every three years.

The Gambling Policy for Stratford on Avon District was reviewed in September 2024 and after a period of consultation Stratford District Council approved the current policy. This policy came into effect on the 31st January 2025 and will run until January 2028.
