In 1996, Stratford-on-Avon District Council transferred all its housing stock to the South Warwickshire Housing Association (SWHA), which has since merged with the Orbit Housing Group to become Orbit Heart of England. It also offers advice on matters such as tenancies, welfare, rent, eviction, repairs and legal representation.
Sanctuary Housing manages over 10,000 properties throughout England. It is a registered, exempt charity, which means every penny it makes must be used to improve homes and services.
Established in 1970, Jephson grew to become one of the largest housing associations, managing 13,500 homes throughout the country. Following its recent merger with Raglan, Stonewater Housing Association was born.
Warwickshire Rural Housing Association helps maintain the vitality of villages by providing affordable homes for rent and shared ownership, so that people who cannot afford to buy on the open market can stay close to their rural roots.
