Stratford-on-Avon District Council's new customer portal receives first 1,000 hits

Stratford-on-Avon District Council's new self-service solution for residents and businesses has received its first 1,000 hits.

Residents and businesses can now set up an account giving them 24/7 access to Council Tax, Housing Benefit and Business Rate information.

The new self-service option provides details showing payments made, payments due and letters that have been sent. There's also an option to sign up for e-billing too, with bills being emailed rather than posted out.

Cllr Jo Barker, People Portfolio says: "This is great news with our new facility receiving 1,000 hits. This new DIY service allows residents and businesses to access their own information at a time that suits them, not just when our offices are open.

"The opportunity for residents to also have their bills emailed to them not only saves paper but also helps the District Council's action towards climate change."
