The nominations for the Southam District ward by-election are as follow

  • Emily Bleloch                     -        UKIP 
  • Tony Bromwich                  -        Conservative
  • Bransby Thomas                -        Labour

The Southam District by-election will take place this Thursday 19 June 2014 with polling stations at The Sports & Social Club, The Graham Adams Centre and The Grange Hall open from 7am to 10pm.

Counting will take place after close of polls at The Graham Adams Centre, St James Road, Southam.

The result will be posted on the District Council website and posted on Twitter @SDCElects.


The Southam by-election is due to the resignation of David Wise

Present standings:   

  • 1 vacancy (Southan by-election)
  • Conservatives - 35 seats
  • Liberal Democrats – 12 seats
  • Independents – 2 seats
  • Stratford First Independents – 2 seats
  • Labour – 1 seat
