Strong start to 2025/26 as Council delivers on key priorities

Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Cabinet has today, Monday 1 September, received the first quarter Performance Monitoring Report.  

The District Council has made a positive start to the second year of its Council Plan, with the Quarter 1 Performance Monitoring Report (April - June 2025) showing encouraging progress across key actions and performance indicators.

The Council Plan, approved in December 2023, sets out six strategic themes and nineteen objectives aimed at improving services and outcomes for residents. The latest report provides a high-level overview of progress made in delivering these priorities.

Council Plan Actions:

  • Of the 62 actions scheduled for Year 2, five (8%) have already been achieved.
  • One action (2%) was not achieved.
  • The remaining 56 actions (90%) are either ongoing or on target.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • 28 KPIs were set for Year 2, with three reported annually.
  • Of the 25 indicators reviewed this quarter, 18 (72%) met their targets.
  • Seven indicators (28%) did not reach their targets.

Cllr Susan Juned, Leader of Stratford-on-Avon District Council said: "We are pleased with the momentum shown in Quarter 1 and these results reflect a strong foundation for continued progress throughout the year. Achieving over 70% of our performance targets and progressing well on the majority of our actions demonstrates our commitment to delivering meaningful improvements for our communities."
