High Speed Two (HS2) is the new high speed railway for Britain. Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV) is working in partnership with HS2 Ltd to build the new high-speed railway in Stratford-on-Avon District. While they progress the works for the new realignment of the B4455 Fosse Way Overbridge and the associated utility diversions, there will be temporary traffic lights on B4455 Fosse Way.

The temporary multi-way traffic lights on B4455 Fosse Way, at the Welsh Road and the Long Itchington roundabouts will be in place from Monday 15 September until Sunday 19 October 2025. The traffic management will be in place 24/7.

There will be a community drop-in event at Southam Library & Information Centre on Wednesday 24 September 2025 between 11am and 2pm to find out more about the HS2 work in the area. Alternatively, if you have a question about HS2 or the works, you can get in contact via email: hs2enquiries@hs2.org.uk
