There's a FREE family fun day this weekend on Saturday 23 July at the Ken Kennett Centre in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The event will be officially opened by the Mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon, Cllr Juliet Short and provides an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy an afternoon of activities.
The fun filled event will include sports activities, face painting, a bouncy castle and giant inflatable slide, and a tug of war competition. The refreshments on offer include a BBQ run by the Yard of Ale Pub, Polish delicacies and an ice cream van.
There'll also be a fire engine on display, the police will be offering free bike marking and local organisations including Mezzo Forte dance group will be performing.
There's also a raffle with prizes donated from local businesses including Hatton Adventure World, Stratford Butterfly Farm and DCS, supporting Clopton Community Forum and Springfield Mind.
The fun day, running from 2pm to 5pm is supported by Stratford-on-Avon District Council together with Warwickshire County Council following the recent difficulties and the potential closure of the Ken Kennett Centre.
It will also offer residents further information about the rejuvenation of the Ken Kennett Centre and provide them with an opportunity to get involved. Locals will also be able to have their say about the new proposals to refurbish the centre into a vibrant community hub.

I fully support this event which is a great opportunity for local residents to get together and contribute to the future of the Ken Kennett Centre."
