A public inquiry starts next week, Tuesday 24 May, following an appeal by Gladman Developments Ltd against the refusal of outline planning permission for the development of land at Knightcote Road for up to 84 houses.

The appeal relates to the proposed outline planning application for residential development for up to 84 dwellings including means of access (from Knightcote Road), new footway on Knightcote Road, open space, landscaping and associated infrastructure with all other matters (appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) reserved for subsequent approval under planning reference 14/03419/OUT.

The inquiry, expected to last for up to 3 days, will be held at Stratford Town Hall, Sheep Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6EF, starting at 10am.  A Government Planning Inspector will preside over the inquiry.

Members of the public may attend the inquiry and express their view – at the discretion of the inspector.

Planning Inspectorate Reference: APP/J3720/W/15/3133319.

This appeal was to be heard at an Informal Hearing in January, but it was decided that that appeal will now follow the Public Inquiry procedure.
