Refuse & Recycling road show in Shipston cancelled

Regretfully, due to weather conditions, Stratford-on-Avon District Council has cancelled it's Shipston Roadshow, scheduled to be between Somerfield and the Co-op tomorrow, Saturday 7 February.
 
The District Council hopes to re-arrange a date with the two supermarkets in order to give on-hand information to the residents of the Shipston area.
 
Further information will be issued next week giving details of the next refuse and recycling roadshow, scheduled for Saturday 14 February.

The changes to new service from 6 April 2009 will be:

• The re-introduction of the green bin service
• Kitchen waste accepted in the green bin for composting
• Grey bins collected every other week

The new service aims to:

• Decrease the Districts waste
• Increase recycling and composting
• Provide better value for money
