Stratford-on-Avon District Council's refuse and recycling service is changing in August 2008.

Visit the Stratford Eco Fair on Saturday 10 May 2008 at Wesley Hall, Methodist Church, Old Town, Stratford-upon-Avon from 10.30am to 4.30pm where District Council officers will be giving out information and answering any questions residents may have about the new service.  

Many other organisations are also attending the event to promote other environmental initiatives.  

The new service is a wheeled bin collection service which will include cardboard, plastic bottles and a weekly collection of kitchen waste.  

The new service aims to:

  • Decrease the District's waste
  • Increase recycling
  • Save taxpayers' money.
