Caring is difficult, and this is why Stratford-on-Avon District Council has teamed up with Warwickshire Welfare Rights and Advice Service (WWRAS) and South Warwickshire Carers Support Service (SWCSS) to offer a range of support options to those who need it.

3 out of 5 of us will provide unpaid care for someone else at some point in our lives (http://www.lightmediaserver.co.uk), and this costs time and money. Through this service, carers in Stratford District can take advantage of some well deserved physical, emotional and monetary support when caring for anyone disabled of any age.

"The scheme is absolutely amazing, I have received fantastic support. I had no idea what I was entitled to, but now I receive vouchers for my glasses, higher pension credit and had all my forms filled in for me, I couldn't speak more highly of the carer support I have received." Says Mrs. Poole of Bidford.

"I lost my daughter, who was my carer, and husband within 6 months and although the grandchildren help all they can it is difficult when they work fulltime. The support I have had allows me, at 84 years old, to live independently."
