Taking the edge off the credit crunch

Figures released in January this year confirmed that the UK is officially in recession. This economic downturn has affected a large number of individuals and businesses all over the country.  Warwickshire is suffering the effects of this along with other counties in the UK.

The current recession has made life difficult for many, but advice and guidance is on hand with a free event on Thursday 26 March 2009 at Stratford College from 1pm to 4pm.

The event entitled Beating the effects of the credit crunch will provide advice, support and information to people and businesses that have been affected by the credit crunch.

At the event there will be representatives from Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Warwickshire County Council, Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, Stratford Town Management Partnership, Stratford College and Citizens Advice.

If you are a business suffering the effects of the economic downturn; if you have lost your job as a result of the credit crunch or are about to lose your job come along the information, guidance and advice is all free.

There are lots of different ways to ease the pressure and help is available no matter what your circumstances may be.
