2 candidates contested the seat at the Hampton Lucy Parish Council election on Thursday 2 April 2009.

The by-election follows the resignation of Paul Waterworth in January.

The result is:
Ivor Birch 32 votes
Kay Graham 59 votes (elected)

The electorate for Hampton Lucy Parish Council is 341.
Turnout for this election was 26.69%.  Turnout for the last contested election at Hampton Lucy parish was 46.93% (2 May 2002).
