Stratford District Councils Set The Pace Health Walk scheme, has been awarded national accreditation by Walking the Way to Health, a Natural England initiative.

The scheme, set up by the District Councils Active Communities Team who design and deliver physical activity programmes specifically with those aged 45 or over in mind, has successfully demonstrated that it meets the essential criteria for ensuring high safety and insurance standards, and will now be formally recognised by health professionals.

Now that spring is on the way, why not get out and about and enjoy your natural environment, make new friends and boost your physical and mental health?  Set The Pace currently offers 7 walks throughout the District and welcomes new walkers at any time.

If you would like to join a walk or become a Volunteer Walk Leader please contact Paula Watson or Kally Laity on (01789) 260648/50.
