The Henley and Studley Community Forum meeting was held last week on Thursday 25 June at Ullenhall Village Hall.

As with all Community Forums the meeting was open to anyone living in Henley and Studley and the surrounding communities; anyone with a question about a local issue can go along and put it to Councillors, Officers and representatives from a range of organisations.

At the meeting residents were given the opportunity to vote on community priorities for the Safer Neighbourhood Team and other agencies to address.

The following community priorities and actions were identified:

1. House Burglaries - The Safer Neighbourhood Team will give more officer time to this issue by carrying out four agreed 10 x 4 hour patrols of 2 officers at appropriates times.

2. Speeding in Wootton Wawen - The Safer Neighbourhood Team have agreed to undertake 6 x 2 hour speed checks before the next Community Forum meeting.

3. Nuisance vehicles on Node Hill, Studley - The Safer Neighbourhood Team will undertake 18 visits to the area before the next Community Forum meeting

Community Forums are interactive, enabling people to find out about issues big and small affecting their area, get answers to questions and influence local decision-making.

Previous Community Forums in Henley and Studley have focussed on a wide range of issues affecting local communities including parking issues across the area, the Shakespeare Rail Line upgrade and Sustainability in the forum area

The next Henley and Studley Community Forum is being held on Thursday 13th August at Wootton Wawen Village Hall and will focus on Affordable Homes and Empty Homes.
