Winter Walks

Two themed winter walks with Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Active Communities Team prove to be as popular as ever.

The District Council's Active Communities Team have again organised their successful Christmas walks. The response has surpassed all expectations and 76 walkers aged 45 years plus have already signed up to participate.

The mystery winter walk was solved when the participants arrived at the Holy Trinity Church and were given an exclusive tour of this historic building last Wednesday 9 December, this was then followed by a meal at the Windmill Pub.

There is also a backstage walkabout in partnership with The Royal Shakespeare Company at the Courtyard Theatre on Monday 21st December at 1pm followed by a walk to the tramway Inn for Christmas Lunch at 2.30pm.

The Active Communities Team is already planning special events for next year to including: Snowdrop Walk, Bus Tour and Walk, Easter Walk, Bluebell Walk and a Picnic Walk.
