Fifty-eight candidates will be contesting 20 seats at Stratford-on-Avon District Council elections on Thursday 6 May. The Council has 53 seats in total.

The list of wards and candidates follows and existing councillors fighting their seats are in italics:

Polling on 6 May will be carried out at over 100 stations around the District, with hours of polling being 7.00am to 10.00pm.  

The current political standings of the Council's 53 seats are: Conservatives - 29 seats; Liberal Democrats - 19 seats; Independents - 3 seats and 2 vacant seats.

Please note candidates still have until 12noon on Tuesday 13 April to withdrawl.
