Business Matters Roadshow – Spring 2015

Business matters to Stratford-on-Avon District Council so, as part of the District Council's 'Open for Business' approach it has teamed up with Warwickshire County Council and other key partners to take important information, support and advice out directly to businesses.

Existing and new businesses will be able to find out first hand from experts about:

• Access to finance
• Funding & grants
• Exporting
• Skills & training
• Apprenticeship opportunities
• Business growth
• Commercial premises
• Networking opportunities
• Business mentoring and more…

The events will take place on the following dates and venues:

• Thursday 12 February, 4pm until 8pm Alscot Park, Atherstone-on-Stour
  
  
• Wednesday 11 March 7.30am until 9.30am, Warwick House, Southam
  
  
• Tuesday 21 April, 5pm until 7.30pm Minerva Mill, Alcester

Councillor Maurice Howse, Portfolio Holder for Enterprise Housing & Revenues says:  “The Business Matters Roadshow is being delivered in response to feedback from businesses who want us to provide them with more advice and support.  In response to this, we have partnered with some of the excellent business venues in our district and have enlisted a team of experts from a range of organisations, agencies and institutions.  We are pleased to be able to provide this important opportunity to help ensure that our local businesses know what is available to them in support of their aspirations and to help address their concerns.  Already we are seeing a keen demand for attendance and would encourage early registration as soon as possible."
