Muntz Hall were successful in their application for £77,714.40 to modernise and improve sustainability of the village sports clubhouse and scout hut exterior.

Built in the 1950s, Muntz Hall and recreation ground was gifted to the community of Tanworth-in-Arden and it continues to serve as the village's central multi-sport and community hub, used by Squirrels, Beavers, Rainbows, Cubs, Scouts, tennis and pickleball members, football teams, cricket teams, families and older residents. The building has remained largely unchanged for many years, and now falls short of modern safety, accessibility and community standards. The project will refurbish and modernise the clubhouse and the scout hut exterior to create a warm, safe and inclusive space, supporting year round sport, youth development, family participation and community gatherings.

David King, a spokesperson for the project says "We are delighted to receive this support from Stratford on Avon District Council. Muntz Hall and the Recreation Ground are used by hundreds of residents every year and are a vital part of community life. This investment will enable us to create a modern, accessible and sustainable facility that supports sport, youth and adult activities and community events for generations to come."
