This Digital Strategy empowers us to deliver enhanced, customer-centric public services while driving operational efficiencies. This allows us to collaborate, innovate, and build stronger partnerships.

This five-year strategy outlines our plan to modernise digital platforms and capabilities. Understanding the fast-paced nature of technology, we have built flexibility into the plan. Feedback and evidence will guide adjustments through annual delivery plans and bi-annual reviews. This adaptable approach also helps us align with potential changes in the funding available.

Our commitment remains constant:

  • Technology will drive continuous improvement and efficient operations. Security, integrity, resilience, and inclusivity are core to our ICT environment, supporting strong customer engagement and partnerships across the Council.
  • Working together for a better future, this Strategy aligns with our broader Council Plan 2023-2027. It will integrate and help deliver on our key themes of Residents and Communities, Delivery of Service, Local Economy, Housing, Health and Wellbeing, and Climate Change.
